Ahh - that's interesting. Must be about the weight... well, I'll keep an eye out for a bargain set of wheels in the interim but it takes the urgency off. I was thinking I'd shred them in one session.

Just don't over heat them and they will be fine, I limited myself to about 8-10 laps per outing. They are also the control tyre for the locost racers :t-up:

You might... sliding on a race track will wear tyres in no time. Drive smooth and clean and they'll last.

Race track tarmac is usually much grippier than road car tarmac and a badly locked brake can flat spot even that hardest of road tyre compounds...
