Must be about the weight... well, I'll keep an eye out for a bargain set of wheels in the interim but it takes the urgency off. I was thinking I'd shred them in one session. Race track tarmac is usually much grippier than road car tarmac and a badly locked brake can flat spot even that hardest of road tyre compounds...
