Expansion Tank

Hi again !

I want to replace the plastic coolant expansion tank with something stainless or alloy. I am unsure about the engine requirements for pressure so probably a silly question but what type of cap should a metal vessel have on it to be equivalent to the yellow plastic one on the supplied plastic tank ? any links appreciated.

Zetec 2.0 with heater.

We fitted an alloy one from Merlin motorsport and used a stainless metal 14psi cap from them for about £8 for the cap, the tank was around £70
