kirkyboy5 Posted July 8, 2012 Author Posted July 8, 2012 Which sikaflex is it though steve? They do a couple? Thanks Dan Quote
SteveD Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 just standard sikaflex ,though it does not really matter , omni seal is just as good and only £4 a tube Quote
pistonbroke Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Sikaflex DC is a special product for oily woods e.g. teak I think you need sikaflex 291 I wouldnt stick cycle wings on with the stuff myself , seen to many failures with disastrous results Quote
Pistol Pete Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Make sure you check the sell by date, it is quite short and therefore often out of date. Quote
carbon-nv Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Dan Smokey Mow posted a really good thread on this that it's the FAQ section (link below). I think he used bighead fasteners, which will give you the 'clean' look with a bit of added security http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/94381-fitting-front-cycle-wings/ Quote
