Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Hi fellas - booked the above with a couple of m8s - D ick in his Tuscan who I did the circuit with last year and Brian with the R8 who joined us for the Wals tour in June If you have not tried Snett 300 track it is Bl**dy great - loads of variation of bends, a nice safe track too - facilities being a Palmer track are excellent Not too many places left - with Javelin Anyone else? Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 seem to remember getting a good 3 hours or more track time last time we went according to the forms it looks like track time starts at 5.50 and finishes at 8pm for 99 quid that doesn't seem very good value to me will see what happens although if that is the case I wont bother booking again - or will at least check the amount of track time first Quote
housebeautician Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Ruddy hell Thats poor VFM I would not have bothered if i had bothered to read the the spec Quote
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 I did contact them and query it today - they responded it has always been 2 and a half hours at Snett well I make it 2 hours and 10 mins - unless they are including the sighting laps as part of the 2 and half hours You will still enjoy it m8 - wouldnt seem so bad if had of booked it at the "book early price" but £99 quid for two hours sucks a bit, especially when a full day there would be £180-190 Quote
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted July 16, 2012 Author Posted July 16, 2012 if that was the case last time we still had a brilliant time and had had enough by the end of it - Quote
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 getting all excited now at a little bit of track time will be leaving work shortly Quote

Andrew Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 waiting for the briefing and it is torrential rain outside :-( Lookin g at the rain radar Cleggy, it looks like it'll pass fairly soon. Have a good evening. Quote
housebeautician Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 event was a disappointment really only two 10 minute blasts for the whole evening. with fuel and everything else it works out at about ten quid a minute Flooded track took ages to clear and then everyone let on track so that no one got a refund Saying that a good track if you have a boat and i look forward to doing it in the dry if it ever stops raining.
