Yaxley Festival May 18Th 2013 - Classic/sports Car/bike Show

Ayup folks

My brother is part organiser of the newly established "Yaxley Festival" of which the first one will be held next year on the 18th of May 2013 - as part of this event they are looking to have a small-ish area dedicated to sports/classic cars and bikes - hopefully a small marquee too

Yaxley is right next to Peterborough just off the A1 for those that do not know ...

The main event will be on the main village green area where there will be traditional fair ground rides for the kids plus all the usual stalls - there will also be an outside bar plus live music throughout the day -

The car show will be held in a large field behind the main pub in Yaxley "The Three Horseshoes" which is a few minutes walk from the main field - they hold lots of small events there such as car boot sales, bigtop circus for the kids, firework shows et etc - the pub does some half decent grub - the pub is also next door to a 40's tearoom which is fantastic for a brew and a slice of home made cake -

I am trying to rally up some support and get some cars down on display for them - I am sure we can rustle up a handful of "7's" and would hope that maybe some of you other guys/gals with something a bit special tucked away in your garage would attend - I shall have my westy there it goes without saying

Clearly it is a fair way away at the moment but if you are interested in getting your vehicle down it would be great if you can let me know so I can get an idea of numbers
