Abingdon Track Day 17Th August

Im booked on this and The Stoat and Dommo are intending to follow (engine rebuilds and IVA tests not withstanding!). Is anyone else planning to go down? Start praying that the summer arrives!

Not a dissimilar shape to Castle Combe in many ways. Hopefully the weather clears up for you by the 20th!

Engine build done and modified exhaust will be delivered tomorrow so I will be there :-)

What a great day! Just home and showered (which I really needed!). Learnt quite a lot including:

1. Buying this car was exactly the right thing to do

2. Need to change the brake fluid badly

3. My stutter / petrol leak on right hand bends got more annoying the quicker I went!

Oh and I need to ditch my ancient A032R's on the front for some A048's like the rear!

Thanks also to Dommo for a spin in his car (lol) and Stuart (The Stoat) for not only giving me a great passenger ride and being crazy enough to let me drive his car but for catching my bonnet when the wind took it. Saved a BMW 130i from catching it instead!
