It's possible that she had pulled in to the service area and had not selected neutral. After pulling in the clutch to come to a stop she then released the clutch thinking the car was in neutral, anti stall kicks in and instantly gives the car 50% throttle, which in turn surged the car forwards into the tail lift of the truck :(

anti-stall pulls the clutch though and the drivers have to release it...

Oh my God .. latest news from the BBC is that she's lost her right eye!! Absolutely devastated for her :-((
