Clarke 45 Litre Parts Washer. Save It From The Dump?

Absolutely FOC to anyone that can collect it from Congleton before I take it to the dump!

Its the free-standing model with the shelf underneath.

The good, er, the tank bit doesn't leak, the er, lid works, the red factory finish is a bit scuffed and tatty on the outside. (Yes, that's a plus :d )

The bad, whatever paint Clarke use for these eventually peeled off the inside in huge chunks, so the inside of the tank, and the pump housing were all stripped back of loose paint and redone in red Hammerite. This is just starting to peel a little again. The pump works, though could do with a new filter, the mains switch fell apart though, so the switch is bypassed. (I used a switched mains socket - drying my hands first obviously). The metal swan neck hose bit seems to have sprung a bit of a leak below the water line, still works though. There's no internal shelf.

All the worn/broken bits are available from Clarke and the inside could be painted again. (You can even have the tin of Hammerite if you really want!)

I just couldn't motivate myself to spend a few days redoing it all again, and bought another in the Vat free promotion.

I was going to keep it and use it with the hosepipe as a sort of preclean-tank for really grubby bits. But now I've got two of the things next to each other, I can't be :arse::blush::d
