Doug Dastardly Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 He must've been worried about binning it, holding back like that? Or was the track damp, that would explain it Quote
peterg Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 and in car at donny before it pitted in a dense cloud of smoke presumably oh, and it's more a Lola than a Caterham.... Quote
Mark Stanton Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 That "Lola" chassis has been around for a while ...... is it now officially rebranded as a Caterham ? Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 That "Lola" chassis has been around for a while ...... is it now officially rebranded as a Caterham ? Assume you're referring to the lola B08/90? In which case the caterham SP300R is a totally different car, although i have to agree they do look remarkably similar and share some common parts, the biggest difference though being the price as IIRC the Lola is about £40k more expensive Quote
Mark Stanton Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Not sure of model No for Lola chassis - but a while back they did some testing and released some PR material/photo's from Rockingham announcing new Caterham based on Lola chassis it was a green car at that time P.S. it was long before it was announced that Lola had gone into admin Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 It always was destined to be a Caterham, Lola were contracted to do the chassis design and development of the SP300R for Caterham Quote
