A lot of views.....is it too expensive ? Perhaps it's the wrong time to sell ? - Maybe everyone is already sorted for this season ? Talk to me.... Thanks !

I am only selling because I want to go back to a single-seater....I have my eye on one which is for sale right now....if it goes, then I will probably keep the Westfield (until another suitable one comes up for sale)

I think a lot of folk (me included) will just be being nosey!

However, just bad timing for me...Exactly what I'll be after in a year or so maybe as I'm still getting to grips with my 'beginners' car ;)

For what its worth,I think price wise it seems priced to sell given the spec.

Best of luck,

Dave

The engine alone would probably cost most of that to buy new! So as a ready to go package it's great value. But at the spec it is, it's also got a very limited market at its "proper" price. How widely have you advertised it?

It's value as a complete car lies in it being a sorted sprint/hill climb car, so if you're going to realise that value, I'd have thought you'd need to advertise it where as many sprinters and hill climbers as possible would see it?

try it on uphill racers.... great site for HC and Sprint :-) nice car....

Thanks very much for the feedback - I have it advertised on Uphill Racers and Pistonheads as well.

I agree, I can't believe it is too expensive for the spec. However many viewers on here will be just noseying around, like me.

Wrong time of year to sell a competition car, I would have thought, though?

Good luck with the sale.

...and me too. Noticed that your first gear is like my second

Also being nosey - and if I wanted a serious sprint car, it looks good value!

Lightweight high grade T45 steel chassis

Is it a Westfield chassis or a custom chassis with Westfield bodywork?

It is a Westfield chassis. The chassis number is on it's RACMSA logbook (I don't have it to hand)

I will be competing in the car at Gurston Down on 23rd/24th June if you want to see it in action.

More pics would help especially a money shot (engine)

This shows the engine but with the old exhaust....the NEW exhaust (see other pic) is a Matt Simpson system in stainless steel with a bonnet exit, and slightly larger primaries than this one, as the engine was rebuilt with new cams earlier this year. I will post more pictures afther next weekend, as the car is not with me at the moment.
