Noisy but has the advantage of being right at the circuit.

If you want a more peaceful experience (and *some* sleep ! ) then head down to Ecommoy and join the Essex, Herts, Notts and Derby, etc. crowds down there.  That's where I'll be staying, as I have done for the last 5 years or so.

hi rob

have been to le mans for 7 years but only once in the westy

1 year at houx camp site which was good with numbered plots and some electrical hook ups and the others years have been at houx annexe which is about a 3 min walk from dunlop bridge its a good site and i am booked for next year with me just booking me tunnel crossing and have aco grandstand seats as well might have one spare to sell

I would not give a dam where i was staying as long as i was there, as a vigin it will be your best year no matter the weather

Rob,

Ecommoy is certainly where a few of the WSCC areas congregate, as mentioned above, and Team Westfield were there too.

It's a municipal camp site with, in my experience, better facilities than those at the circuit and is only about 20 minutes from the main car parks.

It's a good location because it forces you to get out and about and see the rest of the circuit, something which you might not otherwise do if you're staying in the confines of the campsite / village area.
