rob iles Posted November 19, 2002 Posted November 19, 2002 Has anyone got any info about Du Houx campsite at le mans please, good or bad. It will be my first time, so just gathering as much information as possible, can't wait cheers rob. Quote
Nick M Posted November 19, 2002 Posted November 19, 2002 Noisy but has the advantage of being right at the circuit. If you want a more peaceful experience (and *some* sleep ! ) then head down to Ecommoy and join the Essex, Herts, Notts and Derby, etc. crowds down there. That's where I'll be staying, as I have done for the last 5 years or so. Quote

Nick M Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Rob, Ecommoy is certainly where a few of the WSCC areas congregate, as mentioned above, and Team Westfield were there too. It's a municipal camp site with, in my experience, better facilities than those at the circuit and is only about 20 minutes from the main car parks. It's a good location because it forces you to get out and about and see the rest of the circuit, something which you might not otherwise do if you're staying in the confines of the campsite / village area.
