Mot Testers In Tamworth/lichfield (I Know It's A Bit Specific!)

Hi there,

Not sure if I can ask this here, but here goes.....................

I know it's a bit specific geographically, but can any local bods (to Tamworth any way!!!) recommend a decent MOT tester that they've used before and won't rip you off by failing your car in trying to get extra work from you!

If you like a short drive I use Alan's Test Centre in Burton, they even have a ramp to help get kit cars onto the ramp. If you are lucky the Cobra will be there

I've recently used Car Crazy on bell corner and I know another Tamworth Westfield Driver who also uses the same garage.

So there are 2 recommendations for a garage.

he son used to race single seaters and he dealt with set up etc

always found to be very helpful and a family run garage

I'll be going to Stoneliegh on Sunday..........in my Canoe!!!!!....so hopefully might see you there.

But yes, would be good to have a run out on your next Thursday trip to Hatton, I'm just bidding on some out-riggers and pontoons to strap on to Westy to get me there!!!!!!!!!

I use a friends garage in Lichfield - Acton Motors - for my MOT.

They have got a pit rather than ramps for the MOT so no access or damage issues for our cars.

Went with Boney's recomendation in the end, (Fazeley Auto's) top job and very nice facilities.......apart from the sleeping policeman on the way in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, my gear box guard is missing 3-4mm of metal!!!!!!!!!
