stickymint Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I am looking at an intercom system for the Westy for trackdays ( to fit into full face helmets). The price of Peltor/Sparco systems seems quite pricey............ However looking on ebay there seem to be lots of systems for motorbikes - would these be sutiable? Any recommendations? Quote
SteveH Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I've tried quite a few different systems and never really been happy with any of them but no worse than the rest is this - http://www.maplin.co.uk/motorcycle-intercom-10060 Quote
W Shep Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I have use an Autocom and find it to be very good even at speed in a car with aeroscreen. The kit can be powered either by battery or 12v, it's voice activated and if your that way inclined you can have Mp3, Phone or satnav connected to it. I haven't got the contact details with me but I'm sure if you type in Autocom on "tinterweb" you'll find it. Hope that helps Quote
rocket_rabbit Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I've tried a couple. IMHO, you need inner ear items. I use google intercom on android as it's pretty much free. Quote

I presume this maplin one, the headphones use a standard jack so that people can use there own headphones? Quote
