M444TTB Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I couldn't find another topic on this, so thought I'd ask. Has anyone done one of these? It looks like some reasonable training in the type of car I have (so relevant learning) without having to give my car death! http://www.westfield-sportscars.co.uk/Experience%20Days.html 1 Quote

Mark (smokey mow) Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 A load of us did it a few years back. Brilliant fun and well worth the money IMO see this thread for the feedback Quote
Nic Chase (NICO) - Shropshire & Mid-Wales AO Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I'll second that. It was great fun, especially in someone else's car!! Just do it, you won't be disappointed. Quote
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 so who fancies either the 28th or 29th of July? I have both dates crossed through maybe we could organise a discount from westfield? 1 Quote
housebeautician Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I hope its better than the caterham one that i went on a few years ago. It was so badly organised and the instructor was abusive to myself and lots of other people, so much so i ended up nose to nose with him. I got a full refund and a apology in the end, The guy ruined a lot of peoples day that day, hope you have a better one Quote
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 get your name down Tony - I reckon you could break one of their cars in no time Quote
darve Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I did one of the drifting experience days for my stag at the start of March. really good fun Quote

chappers Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Looks like fun. I did 4 person driver training day with Car Limits and Andrew Walsh which was a great day, learning braking, under/over steer, trailing throttle, left-foot braking, heel and toe etc. Definitely recommended. Depending on how you look at it you have the advantage/disadvantage of using your own car. http://www.carlimits.com/script/viewEvents.php?type=airfieldtraining Quote
kevip6 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I'd be interested in this if we could sort out a group booking Quote
