Number Of Views

Why is it that sometimes you look at a post with 0 views and then it still says 0 views when you go back to the forum?

Anyone have any ideas?

There's a couple of new posts that I've looked at that still say 0 views, and one of mine which says 0 views after being posted 1.5 hours ago. Although folk might just be fed up of my questions

Maybe it doesn't count you viewing your own post.

I've seen it on a few posts in the past too, sometimes it doesn't show the view count until after the first reply.

I was viwing a post (not one of mine) last week that said 0 views. I posted a reply with just 1 dot (.) as the reply and when I went back it showed 30 odd views and one reply.

that for me shows 0 views but when I just looked at the thread there was at least one answer.

Edited again to say,

I just forced a refresh of the web page and this topic came to the top but the post in question still shows 0 views but the last reply by the Captain.
