Nick M Posted June 10, 2002 Author Posted June 10, 2002 Yep, that's the plan. Look out for an orange Blade engined car, a green wide-track one and maybe a black MR2. Probably others in tow too. Mine won't be there but I'll be cadging rides in everyone elses' cars Quote
Stuart Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 I'm not going to Le Mans but having been on the Chunnel recently I can advise that they are VERY security conscious after September 11th. Expect to be checked for explosives and not allowed on if there is anything else dodgy whatsoever. I don't know if the ferries are the same but you would presume so. Quote
furtive Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 Re: Chunnel security - what constitutes dodgy? Are propane/butane camping gas canisters ok? What about Abba CD's? Quote
Blatman Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 Use the propane burners to toast the CD's...... Quote
Nick M Posted June 11, 2002 Author Posted June 11, 2002 Use the propane burners to toast the [ABBA] CD's And the carrier of said CDs !!! Hoverspeed at Newhaven were about as security concious as Bagpus on a quiet day last week. Barely even looked at our passports. Quote
