samulis
I will want to have aeroscreen in my up coming SE and half doors to go with it to make life easier. But, I have search'd high and low for half doors and only seller I've found sofar isn't making them any more, is made from carbon fiber and costs arm and leg. Is there any company or individual who sell's them? Dont mind if their made from fiberglass. Found aeroscreen for nice price and wonder does 60cm aeroscreen fit on 1991 SE? Cheers and thanks Samuli Edited March 21, 2012 by samulis
CSRacing
how about a fabric based one? like http://www.softbitsshop.co.uk/westfield-half-doors-642-p.asp or the leather based ones that are moulded with flock/fabric lining
samulis
Thank you for that. Yes I found that too, but I am going to make my car weatherproof so no soft bits will be bolted on the car.
Mid life crisis
Hi Samulis, I have just purchased a double bubble carbon aeroscreen for my narrow car from aerodynamix.co.uk, for not a lot more than the people in your link are asking for the plastic one. Fits very well and better still it is a slightly imperfect one for a very good price and quite honestly can't find anything wrong with it.
JulianE
Hi Samulis , The link you give for the aeroscreen shows an aeroscreen which is suitable for fitting to a flat scuttle , on your car for the measurements given for the aeroscreen may well not fit , however I stand to be corrected , it's probably more suited to a Robin Hood or a Luego viento with a wider scuttle . As noted by you Carbon mods aren't doing Aeroscreens or Sidescreens at the moment . You could try www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk who do still list sidescreens although I believe you can order in glassfibre to reduce cost Or as James has noted above . Have you looked on traders offers on www.locostbuilders.co.uk where your car was advertised
