Went to Peebles with SWMBO as it was Mothers Day. Had a scone and a coffee. From Peebles headed up towards Edinburgh, turned left at Leadburn and then back down towards Moffat and back up home to Douglas. Gentle drive TBH and it was most enjoyable.

Only down side was the amount of Sunday drivers out on these glorious twisty roads doing 30 and 40 mph regardles of whether they were in a built up area or not, in their big gas guzzling Lexus, 7 series, Jags etc. However I was in no hurry and got past them eventually.

All in a glorious few hours out in the sun, and I didnt need to wash the car when I got back.
