mikef
Very well done Wales. A question - Before the match Wales had to win or draw to get the Grand Slam. If they lost, England could have won it with a 38 point difference. I know it was very unlikely but still possible. However, the trophy (together with the Chief Executive of RBS etc) was in Cardiff for the presentation to the Welsh team immediately after the match. If Wales had lost, would the trophy have been whipped up to Twickenham in case England got the 38 point difference? But, then if England just failed to get the points difference, the trophy plus presentation crowd would need to be back in Cardiff. Or do they have a replica trophy and a double for the RBS Chief exec???
Dibby
If it ended the other way round, the trophy would have gone to Twickers by helicopter. If it's a close call, the trophy is usually in the air to be whipped away to the winning ground for the presentation. Well done Wales, good win by Wales and England, good win by Button, good sporting weekend all round and the sun came out.
