samulis
Yes, I am buying the 1991 that is for sale in locost pages. I assume that the car is normal SE, not a pre-lit, am I correct? EDIT answer to myself, yes pre-lit's are easy to spot they have different shape bonnet/hood. Feel's great to finally get my own one, after so many years of dreaming of one. I bet you know the feeling, smiling all day Edited March 12, 2012 by samulis
peterg
Looks very tidy and good value, make sure you take some gaffa tape to hold that bonnet down for the journey back though, you don't want to start losing bits before you've got it home
Captain Colonial
Congrats! Why not pre-order some new bonnet latches and have them delivered to where you're collecting the car, then fit them before you set off?
samulis
It will be trailered to boat and I'll pick it up from harbour here. It doesnt have MOT so flying there, buying it and trying to fix it and then have MOT'd it would just be too much, where it cost's the same if I get it this way. Altho I do love and will miss the drive from UK to home, specially autobahn's (and Ralf Schumacher has in/out Go-kart track hour or so before Travemünde harbour). Edit have to ad that I dont like Belgian motorways.. Edited March 12, 2012 by samulis
Paul-P3LSN
I wouldn't suggest trailoring the car behind the boat! ha ha On a serious note a friend of mine has a contact out in Finland who imports all types of 7's and even though you have already set yourself up for this car, contacts are key, especially for parts and local knowledge. If you'd like the details send me a PM and I'll hook you up. Enjoy the car Paul
samulis
Hi Paul Yes please, I'll send you a PM. But I think I might ready know him, it is such small group of people (I think there is less than 40 seven type cars all together in whole Finland) and he is know'n as mr Caterham in or of Finland. Thanks, I will. Samuli ps. just loved to see this on sale ad.. Deposit received from Finland Edited March 13, 2012 by samulis
