Fangi0
Expect this has been raised but can't find much. If you don't have Sky and don't want to support the infamous Mordock regime, what do members think is the best way to see non BBC live F1 other than going to the pub, friends etc. Some links on google I see alleging free viewing but some look a bit dodgy. evo97
A few options, looked into it myself. Foreign channel picking up a channel on another satellite feed but will have to point your dish to it. And then listen to the radio 5 commentry. Theres bound to be a stream feed via the net. Or torrents a few hours later.......... Not going to mention any more on that subject. Im still debating if the extra tenner a month to sky is going to be worth it or not! Will miss brundle tho! Nathan
peterg
Keep an eye on this streaming website, it may work but until next Friday we won't know for sure... http://www.livestream.com/f1streaming
Dibby
There will be a zillion internet streams but then quality depends on your connection speed and with ours topping out at 3Mb it's like watching something filmed through a phone camera and blown up onto a big screen. Luckily here the previous house owners left the Sky dish on the wall and the cable into the house so I picked up a satellite freesat card to put into an old computer to use it as a PVR/ TV/ Home theatre thing. Or you can get one of those Dreambox satellite boxes for £100 - £500 depending on features, HD, PVR etc to get the signal onto the TV. The German channel RTL is broadcasting every race in HD and the signal is strong enough to pick up in the UK and you could use Radio 5-Live for UK commentary but the trick is getting them in sync because they could be 5 minutes out. Or if you get into cardsharing (won't be posting links or anything here), there are free codes out there but they're pretty rare. I've use the £1 for 24 hours and it gives you free Sky, all HD, sports, movies, pay per view, the lot.
Mark Williamson
Im still debating if the extra tenner a month to sky is going to be worth it or not! Will miss brundle tho! For me it would be worth a tenner just for Brundle's insight , plus it's in HD and the sound will be in sync . Also it's a F1 dedicated channel, with a lot of retro stuff on, have a look at the TV schedule, which starts today. Mark

Bananaman
Comes free with my Virgin package!
Dibby
It's 'only' £10 extra if you already have Sky, for those that haven't it comes out at £40 a month for one channel I want, 90% full of cheap re-runs of old programs and a live quali and race. Sorry, but £40 a month isn't worth one race a month when they're not showing it on the Beeb, it's simply a rip-off. Plus it's Sky's principle of pumping the customers for cash by putting it on a premium package and not making it part of the basic package, unknown price rises next year, threat of it going to pay-per-view. Bring on the 24 hours of free Sky next weekend for £1 with a big 2-fingers up to Rupert

Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator
If you have normal sky+ and upgrade to Sky+ HD for 12 months you get the HD box free so for extra 10 per month you get f1 and loads of other HD channels, I succumbed to tempation Bernie you git, but must admit HD quality is superb
Bananaman
not with mine, but then i don't care as i'll be in the Canary Islands next weekend and will Tivo the race highlights from the Beeb for viewing when i get back Oups... I got that one wrong, just tested it and it's off limits on my Vivo box..... Rang them & they want £20 something extra a month.............think i'll give it a miss, it's a shame but it really ain't 'that' good......................
