again as i said in the other thread if someone was stupid enough to advertise there car so cheap thats there problem , then good on the trader for buying it and selling it on at a profit ,thats there job ,i dont have a issue with it at all, at least they have the balls to do it ,people seem to take offense when this sort of thing happens

may i suggest you take a look at toybox's dodgy deelings if you want to have a pop at anyone and why they are filling pistonheads with with adverts for already supposidly sold cars they dont have or have never had , and in the next week or so when i have gathered a bit more info and history and have all the facts on a car we have on our premises that they sold to a customer , i will be starting a thread on them and there illegal dealings and how they ripped a customer off and this you dont want to miss trust me

Isn't that how all viable business work, buy low (underpriced in this case) and sell higher?

Sure ~50% mark-up might be a lot on a Westie but just looks like someone has seen an opportunity to make a little more than they might usually do by snapping up a car that was advertised very cheap.

Besides which, it may or may not sell at that price. I saw one go seemingly cheap last year to a dealer who then seemed to have real trouble shifting it.

Firstly, Im not having a pop at anyone, what I was saying is 'nice work if you can get it' I'd do the same if I bought that car that cheap.

Secondly, I really don't think that you ******ging off Toybox is exactly good forum etiquette, however you feel about them, especially from someone who continually claims to be the Big Daddy on this site.

Thirdly, have you ever considered using you caps lock button. Its usually on the left in the middle of your keyboard and makes reading your posts much easier on the eye. ;)

What has forum etiquette got to do with ******ging off a company that has ripped someone off? It's perfectly reasonable once the true facts have been established to warn people so they don't get caught out, I for one, want to know of any company that is not dealing honestly so I can avoid them and warn others who maybe thinking of using them in the future. :t-up:

Using the Caps Lock button would just result in all his posts LOOKING LIKE THIS, IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT 'COS THAT'S WHAT'LL HAPPEN.... ???:p

and if toybox have done the dirty on a customer and sold them a illlegal car i will post about it as people have a right to know :) i just need my facts to be 100%

Cars like this do come round every now and then. Bought ours for less than 1/2 the market value from a friend of the family, wouldn't let him advertise it because someone would have snapped his hand off for the price he sold it. Knowing the car and the history we put a deposit down quick while we sold our old Robin Hood.

We could have 'made' thousands putting the Westie straight up for sale. No way would we sell it though, we'd have a pocket full of cash but no toy car and we'd have to buy something else of unknown history with the money.

So good on the bloke for spotting something cheap and selling it on to make a quick buck. He can drop the price and still make a tidy profit.
