Andrew Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Might turn up and try to get on, just a couple of miles away from work. Bob Be nice to see you there.. but be warned, it looks like they're tightening up on late bookings. See here: http://www.thetrackdayclub.com/component/content/article/31.html "As of now the main car/driver fee for all our track days will go up from £99 to £120 ten days before the event. There will be no discounts on the day or the day before and no half days - this is not lastminute.com! I would rather lose a few places than sell them off cheap to those who take the p***! " Quote
Andrew Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 The price of this one goes up from the early booking £99, to £120 this Sunday, 1st April. Only 11 places left now, get in quick if you want to join us. Quote

Andrew Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Had a good day at Teesside yesterday.. it really is cracking value at £99. The day didnt start too well. After the first session, I came in after spotting some smoke, to find oil all over the rear of the engine. Thank's to Terry (Tex) for spotting the loose cam cover bolts. The car ran perfect the rest of the day. Weather was almost perfect.. there was one light shower, that I drove through. The track went from bone dry to slightly slippery and back to bone dry in the space of about twenty minutes. Had a bit of a chase with an Atom at one point. He was taking big lumps out of me down the straight, but I managed to get him back in the twisty bits. Bit of video from Pilot Pete productions: Failed miserably in the kart race at the end of the day. Quallified 6th and finished 7th or 8th. Enjoyed the race, but my body was aching all over afterwards! Quote
Bob Bobbleton Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Looks like a good day was had. Given the recent weather, I think you've been lucky... Couldn't get away from work to pop down :-( Think I might do the one on 5th June, Queens Jubilee. Work car if its raining ! Cheers Bob Quote
