Know what you are saying about deadlines to meet Norm, our studio is closed untill I get all this work done, will have to bring in some outside help, cant do the whole thing myself.. and then there is the issue of getting the 7 back on the road ready for spring.. SWMBO makes sure I keep my priorities in order..spent the whole day working on the studio floor, 112 year old wood doesn't take well to being soaked, talk about warped!. The carpet that was down had been contact cemented, oh my aching back!! Time for the Dark brew..(Guinness)

Been following your escapades with your place, one hell of a lot of work, not to mention a few health hiccups along the way. You guys are amazing. Keep on keeping on Norm, I figure that I can't stand still to long or I may start to sieze up. Okay, back to those FLOORS!

Would love to visit you in France, on our next trip to the Uk we will nip across the pond and spend a stay with you. Shame I would have to leave my 7 in Canada.

It won't get too lonely. My cousin's coming from Florida so Canada's not too bad.

Now I have gremlins in the plumbing, sounds like something off Nemo,s sub. The joys of a water heated system. Must be plumber time again. We are also building a one bedroom suite for rent in the downstairs. I thought semi retirement was time for peace and relaxation.

Web sites excellent.

As far as plumbing goes I find it easy to as I relate it to electric circuits. Sound like air trapped in the system somewhere. Also ensure all the pipes are anchored and not touching floorboards or joists. I've heard terrific vibrating sound coming from heating pipes where they are touching joists (or floorboards) and not anchored with pipe clips.

Yesterday I fitted the bannister rail around the bathroom stair well. Went really well considering I had to modify the kit to go around the right angle. The kit is a 2 x 1 metre multi-rail. I had to cut the thin rods and bend the second set 90 degrees. All went well. Stopped for the football.

Now going to finish off fitting the handrail, then extend the shower head into the centre of the shower, then make some doors for access behind the false walls. then........
