Rab (bombero) Reid
My PX600 air filter has still got plenty life left in it but the lettering is looking a bit tatty .. not an issue normally, but now that I've cut a hole in my bonnet, it's there for all to see .. .. vanity! Don't want to go to the expense of buying a new one for the reason already mentioned. Pipercross can't help with any stencil and so I'm looking for some ideas from you guys .. It's 'Pipercross' as opposed to 'PIPERCROSS' as both styles seem to have been used in their filters; my lettering is the same as this but all faded at one end:
Matta
Rab - Unless you're going for concours, it looks pretty good to me! Once you actually get out and drive it, you'll not notice as it'll be covered in mud...;-) Matt
Captain Colonial
Download the Pipercross logo, print it in the same size on stiff photo paper, cut it out and use the paper as a stencil - simples! I believe Cleggy has some pens to whiten the lettering on tyres - use one of those.

Mine's all faded at one end and reads 'Pipercro......' lol!

However, the white tyre pen might be a goer, thanks Cap'n!

Rab (bombero) Reid
Yep, got these and one may be used as basis for altering to make stencil .. still not exactly like filter though.
jeff oakley
The other alternative is to remove the rest of the writing so it is all one plain colour.
Hammy
If you make a stencil , it looks like the filter has been sprayed through it . My filters have chunks of foam missing from them want to swap ?

Captain Colonial
Wow, an idea of mine that actually worked! I suppose ten years of ideas, the law of averages finally caught up! Looks good!
