Is there anything you can put in the mortar to help stop cracking? glass fibers / latex ??

i know about the brush in compounds but i need to do 60m2 with wide joints that would cost to much

Sorry can't help but thought from the thread title it was about some new age/feng shui/crystal healing nonsense

Might set up a sXXX web site selling "Indian Pointing Stones" to the hippyrati.. Few bits of rock from the garden, some string... Where's the harm?

You could add lime to the mortar mix to help with the cracking, also i have found that laying the paving on a bed of sharp sand helps rather than dot and dabbing the flags and then pointing.

The flags are down now on full beds. (googling adding lime to mortar)

I'd go for lime too. Cracking is often a sign of mortar being too strong and brittle and you've got a bit to go at.
