CedricTheBrave Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Are there any restrictions on size or format of pictures for the avatar? I have tried several times but it keeps saying Failed to set a new photo Quote
peterg Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I had that problem too, finally sussed that it needs to be tiny (current one is only 20kb) so you'll have to edit it down first size is 272 x 243 pixels according to Microsoft Picture Manager which I used to edit it (as I'm at work....) Quote

langy Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Photo is probably too big. Think it mentioned something about 200px, which i'm guessing is 200 pixels. Mine was about 300 pixels wide. HTH Quote

peterg Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 the bit that said Recommend an image 200px or larger threw me then lol It seems to autocrop it down to 92 x 92 pixels (roughly 10kb) but can't cope with anything bigger than 300 x 300 as the original pic Quote
