Found an old post from Davep1 about a Westfield built for/by Weslakes in Rye. Is Davep1 still a member and does he still have the car?

I actually built the car - Brian Lovell was my father. Would love to know where it is now.

do a search on the dvla site if you have the reg

Chassis number was 1247, originally registered as Q990ANJ - lots of history I can pass on.

Davep1 still has the car. I had a blat with him in May last year(2011) round the Dumfriesshire hills. I checked a picture I have on my PC of all the cars and the the last 2 digits of the reg, which I can make out are NJ.

He is based in Thornill in Dumfriesshire, but thats all I know.

Hi Caterham G7

Have tried to PM you - but wont allow since you are a new member.

Thanks for making contact via the boardroom - I am the owner of Q990 ANJ, and find it quite amazing you were the builder of it..

I know very little of the history before I bought the car in St Andrews in April 2001, although I do have a wad of recepits from your build dating back to around 1990, including letters to / from Dunnell.

The car is basically unchanged - a couple of major rebuilds, but still the same box / engine and running gear.

I still use the car when weather permits - its taxed and insured all year.

If you would like any pics, please let me know and I will dig some out (if you could let me have your email address this would probably make it easier).

Many Thanks, and hope to hear back from you, either publically via the boardroom or via PM (if that is possible)

Dave
