Mat Jackson Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Been trying to get in touch with Triton Race Steats for the past few weeks and not gettin gany response. Tried leaving phone messages and e-mails.... Anyone know if they are still in business or not? Quote
moomin Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I understand there's been some time issues with the guys (& girl) who make them - but they've contracted out the right to make them to Vodou Auto Kits. Quote
stephenh Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Dunno, but you'll find Tillet easy to contact and deal with, as an alternative. The boss is a member of this Club, and they are Speed Series sponsors. Quote
CL290005 Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Matt What number are you using, I have Ed's mobile. They experienced others copying their seat design and under cut them by a reduction in quality, this is what Ed told me. He is working on a new design, for 2012, which sounds very interesting. If you pm me I can check the number you have Chris Quote
Torqueman Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Mog makes very nice seats They fit like a glove, well for me anyway! Quote
ianstewartshouse Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I got mine from JK composites and they seem to be good quality. Heres a few picks of them http://www.flickr.com/photos/ianstewartshouse/sets/72157628535428471/ Just set in at the moment Quote
Mat Jackson Posted December 23, 2011 Author Posted December 23, 2011 Thansk Guys, Chris - PM sent.... I do like Tillet seats, but they are just a bit too much (even with the 25% off....) Thanks for the link to Vodoo, but they only seem to offer the wide seat, I am after the narrow low side.... Looked at JKs, but didn`t like the flex they had - the Tritons were really stiff...... Thanks guys...... Quote
Rory's Dad Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 The JKs with the base are stiff - at least mine are. The basic seat is glassed onto what looks like an upside-down stool wth sides. The legs go quite a long way up the back making the sections triangular (IYSWIM) and therefore much stiffer. Rory's Dad Quote
