lippydave Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Fixed mine this morning. Glass is frameless on Scooby. Glass had frozen to door seals, mech had gone down leaving glass behind, then glass had dropped down. Mech was loose on door. Took off inner door hardware, realigned glass into carrier and reconnected harness, adjusted mech, torqued it all up , put the trim back together...Job done... Hope yours goes as easily Jay... Quote

The window is repaired {by moi} and is working just fine...... taking the dorr panel off was a tad nightmare as lotsa electrics behing the door panel. used heavy duty RTV to re attached the window to the mechanism.... jobs appears to be a good un..... happy smudge tonight ;-) Quote

RedditchJay Posted December 29, 2011 Author Posted December 29, 2011 HAPPY BUNNY TODAY..... was like a kid with a new toy..... window up....buzzzzzzzzzzzz... window down.....buzzzzzzz up down up down..... happy with end result as long as it lasts, my thoughts with the RTV is / was it glues well, {used lots on my Defender 110} it remains flexible to absorb any vibrations and cheap..... and has worked ..... Quote
