Dave
Looking for a good undamaged timing belt cover for 2ltr xe, Planning on fitting my old XE in my rally car so dont want any nasty stones in there. I did see a flat plastic jobbie that filled the front and protected all the pinch points If anybody has any info one one of these? Dave

Timmay Zoom Zoom
There are always some on e-bay, a nice carbon one at the mo. The cover is the easy bit to find, what is hard is getting the rubber seal. It took me ages to find one. Also the fixings to make the cover stand off from the belt, these are not very robust and can snap easily, then on need 25Nm or so, much more and they will break, trust me I know! lol! Deffinately look out to see if you need early of later type as they are different. Also just incase you didn't know you will need the inner cover (Normall Black) that mates to the block, sometimes this is also removed if running with not cover as its not really needed. HTH, hope I didn't say stuff you already knew!

Crash test dummy
I'm sure I've got some covers and backplates somewhere if you get stuck. I'd be interested in the price of the infill from Exon if you do find out Dave.
