Blatman Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 And solid hose is lighter than braided when all's said and done. In use, I agree that there will be no problems with expansion (or anything else) using braided hose throughout the car, but for the seriously weight conscious, there is a small consideration to using Kunifer/steel hard lines....... Nick M Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 but there are no specific down-sides either. IMExperience.... it does cost a tiny bit more than normal pipe though To be honest, by the time I got to that stage I had stopped counting.... But I *hate* making solid brake pipes with a passion - all that faffing about with flaring tools and trying to get a decent seal. Pah ! Give me aeroquip hoses any day !! Quote
