No I wouldn't do suspension nuts you're potentially creating a real mare of a Job for yourself later on. They can be bad enough if they stick anyway. :bangshead: (likewise don't coat threads either!)

Nuts ans bolts that've got really bad are best just replaced. Though bear in mind if you strip suspension fastenings out you'll probably need a geometry check/reset afterwards. Stopping fasteners rusting is what stuff like the spray on ACF50 or at least WD40 were born for  ;)

BTW I read about a good tip on a different forum that if you put some cling film between tin and lid before sealing it - it stops the por15 bonding the metal lid on for good.

Tried that with other paints with no great success. (though in fairness that might just have been how long I left them, and/or frost affecting them.)
