TIG Brother Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Oh wise WSCC Have just purchased a new tin top, but sadly one alloy has been ever so lightly scuffed, looking to see if any one has had good or bad experiences with a mobile repair in and around the oxon or northants areas? I have seen some previous repairs done by a large company in Milton Keynes, and I have to say I was not very impressed. Any reccomendations? Quote
SteveD Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 all depends on the individual doing the repairs ,we use prestige wheels and not had any problems ,maybe speak to a local high end car dealer and see who they use or recomend Quote
TIG Brother Posted November 13, 2011 Author Posted November 13, 2011 See this is half the battle. With most of them being franchises the repair is only as good as the bloke doing the repair. The Porsche dealership across the road from me use the company in Milton Keynes ( as mentioned above ) but I have seen the quality they supply and I wouldn't really be happy after what I have seen Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 You might be better looking at who the smaller, one man band style prestige car dealers. They tend to have a little better quality control about who they'll use for repair work than bigger franchised dealers. Quote
SteveD Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 try a local bodyshop ,you will find they use wheel repair people for insurance work ,so may recomend someone Quote
TIG Brother Posted November 13, 2011 Author Posted November 13, 2011 Just don't want a bad job as my CDO will kick in. Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 We use Pristine Wheels and have tried others but Pristine is by far the best. Quote
