worldwidewebs
Can anyone tell me when all Westfields were made as a wide body? Cheers Andy
Blatman
From around 1994, IIRC, although *I think* the factory will still make narrow chassis to order...... If you are looking for a way to tell if a chassis is a wide, then it'll have either A. Detachable arches, or B. Have small cut outs in the rear body tub, into which the inner ends of the lights sit. LRdriver
so..that means that all the megablades/busas/birds are all Wide body and longer bodied ( SV dimensions?)
stu999
AFAIK yes, all "Mega" cars are widebodied. Dont know how the measurements compare to a Cateringvan SV though....
timd
Caterham SVs are even bigger than a widebody westy. In my westy I need to have the (shell) seat right back on the bulkhead to fit in - in the SV I had to move the (padded comfy) seat forward about 6" to reach the pedals!! It's HUGE!!
