Pantherman Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I have a pair of what I think are Westfield headlamp brackets in good condition , however they are too short to fasten on my shock mounting. I believe that these are the later type and I need the longer ones for a 89 Narrow. I am happy to swop mine for yours or give you cash and if things start getting desperate I might throw in my 1971 Norton Commando !!! Someone must have a pair somewhere !!!!
a4gom Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Have you got any measurements? I've got these, I think I also have some chrome ones but i'll have to check. I've chopped the return diagonal of on mine and shortened the plate that sticks out from the bar which you mount the lamp on.
Hammy Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Not much help but.... I have some chrome ones that fit to the tube under the chassis top rail and a suspension pickup, but they will be short too You are right there are two types as the "tube" slot on the chassis moved its pickup postion around the top chassis member over the years, hence yours is too short. I expect your tube sticks out the side of the chassis tube and the brackets would fit a tube position under the member - if you can weld you could move the tube position or mod those on offer above if they are not right (cut off the strip section and replace) ?
