Slimslow
This car has been built, owned and raced by myself since new. This is the second Westfield I have built. It was built with weight in mind and no expense spared. Unfortunately due to lack of use and moving to single seaters the car has only had very limited use over the last two years (less than ten events) it is up for sale complete. This is the full specification that it raced in, with all spares, bells and whistles included. If it does not sell I may take it back to a basic spec and sell of individually the race orientated parts and engine. It is a SEi wide bodied Westfield which was SVA’ed in 2003. It has won the overall Scottish Sprint championship twice. Has held records at every round of the Scottish Sprint Circuit and most hills and still holds most of them today. Prescott time (the only time it raced there) 43.00 seconds Doune it still holds the class record 44.66 Westfield Light weight race chassis Holeshot 1298cc Turbo Hayabusa Engine Body Carbon front mud Guards (brand new) Carbon nose (brand new) Aero screen M&P front head lights Extra wide rear arches with carbon stone guards Rear carbon effect light clusters Carbon Dash Carbon Boot panel Carbon Interior panels Carbon half doors (driver side not fitted but included (brand new)) Four point Hans compatible Schroth Harness Two race seats (one adjustable one fixed) Detachable momo steering wheel Carbon rear diffuser Chassis Westfield light weight race chassis RAC Roll bar with front stay Extra welded in rear bracing on chassis at diff support Removable side engine bay brace to allow turbo in and out Wide track wishbones Aluminium uprights Quick rack Lightweight steering column Front & Rear anti roll bars Nitron fully adjustable dampers specifically valved for this car (it took three attempts to get the valving perfect. tex
sorry not looking to buy but have a question about the bailey morris prop.. What sort of feel does not having the reverse box give presuming you have driven the car with? Im just about to order mine and change to electric. Nice to get feedback from people who have similar set up. Good luck with your sale by the way.. Car looks stunning with a great package for that price. The wheels alone must of cost a few grand. Bargain price for someone having owned a car similar i know what stuff costs. Good luck
Slimslow
There is a bit of difference with the reverse box removed, less oil spill, less weight and probably 4-5hp l drop IMHO. Probably a small drop in vibration. One failed on me - thats why I removed it and went electric.
