I run a new Caddy Maxi great van with second row of seats and dsg but probably too small for what you want.

Transit vote from me Jeff, 2006 onwards though, mine is a 55 plate pre facelift, it's a good van and tows very well but the later facelift one is more comfortable and a better looking better finished cab.

They are pretty good on fuel too. Generally the MWB and LWB are RWD and the short WB are FWD

quick update with the help of my old faithful taxi driver  ;) I collected a finance repo 2007 newshape transit 110bhp fwd mwb/mroof van 65,000 miles, filled it up and on the range it is set to do 630 miles which is  300 more miles on a tank than my merc  :0  :0  :0  collected it from near glossop cheshire and on the 125 mile ride home the guage has only just moved

It goes very well and getting it apped this week,  its quiet and the sound sytem is impressive, can honestly say its the first time ive been impressed by a ford

cheers all for the input  :t-up:  :t-up:

I take it she is shiny white... if you get the urge to get a caravan, and maybe do some tarmac jobs its time to worry.

Just kidding.

Good luck.  :t-up:
