flanker7 Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 I have to have another lower steering column modified and have got one from the scrapie, as the rubbers at the uni joint are not too hot on the two we rescued and these rubbers are a SVA/MOT issue, what did other guys do, wing it and hope, or get new part from a main dealer (anyone know the part number as there are loads of different types. Would appreciate advice but am now leaving and going to the car and will be away from the computer for the day (60 miles apart) and no internet access at the build site could someone call me with any ideas if thats ok 0780 3206567. Enterpryse Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 Flanker, the top and bottom column are off the donor Sierra so we didn't need to go anywhere else. Westfield did the modification for me and the only gripe was that the OD of the bottom section is rather large so it comes 1mm away from the chassis. I know you said don't reply but I'm off too so just in case you don't get a reply by phone here you go, I may try to SMS it also. Stuart Quote
