The curse of Fish Hill near Broadway.

About 6 weeks ago I bought a fire blade engine car from the depths of Wales. It soon developed severe clutch drag, turned out to be the actuating rod and the metal plates £140 later, fixed.  Took it for a drive in the Cotswold and up the infamous Fish hill where it dumped all the water, got it trailered home, water pump gone £200 back on the road.  A couple of weeks later run in the Cotswolds up the  Fish hill stopped at the top, battery flat, trailered home on investigation new battery and regulator £160. Next weekend out again engine overheated, electric fan not working lost the water again, trailered home, now permanently on until I can get a switch.  Today went to Long Marston drag strip scenic route up the Fish hill got to the top and the car will no longer hold in 3rd and 4th gears. Looks as though the gearbox needs to come out and be rebuilt, someone mentioned something about dogs.???  and said it will be expensive.  Just to add insult to injury headlights on the way home have stopped working!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking for a gearbox for a fireblade 929. 2001.
