lippydave Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Come on Wales stuff the Frenchb****r got to work today so cant watch the game b****y hell, somebody burn my bowler hat, take away my bulldog and rescind my English nationality, I can't believe it, I want the Taffys to smoke 'em too.... Ladd 'r 'n Ffrengig......(I think that's how you say it...) Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 I'm an Englishman and proud of it. That said the Welsh have played butter than us and I admire them for it. Quote

More than just that Matt, it actually means something to most of the Welsh nation....They are far more passionate about it..... 60,000 sheep shaggers watching on big screen in the Millenium Stadium this morning.... It's p*ssing down in NZ at the moment BTW....More suited to the Taffs than the Frogs I reckon... (Proud Englishman#2 also supporting the Welsh...) Quote
lippydave Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Hang the ref ! Doesn't matter, the Taffs seem to have twice the desire of the French... Just hope they don't run out of steam later on being a man down... Quote

DerekJ Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Gutted! But what a performance from 14 men. Great game. DerekJ, Neath, Old South Wales Quote
Paul Edden Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Wales were robbed by a truely terrible decision by the ref. Dallaglio summed it up for me; "Ballroom dancing is a contact sport - rubgy is brutal. If you don't fancy that - dont take part" Nothing wrong with that tackle - penalty at most. Every Welshman should be proud today. Quote
Terry Everall Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Great performance but very surprised that ones did not attempt drop goal with about 10 mins to go! and only 1 point down Quote

Every Welshman should be proud today. Sorry, it was a spear tackle. You can break peoples necks like that.... Yellow card at least, red may be a bit harsh but not too over the top.... That said, if Wales had kicked their penalties they would have won, and should have taken a drop goal chance at the end. I wanted Wales to win, but they lost it - not the ref...... Finally, the team did well this year but they should not be proud of a defeat.... Quote

This was indicative of intent to not harm the player which means no malice so no red. The ref missed this and got it wrong. Tubs. Quote
Mat Jackson Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Disagree, he was released when he was upside down...... If it were me reffing it would have been a yellow, but a red was within the laws. That said, Wales lost the game because of missed kicks, not that decision.... Quote
