Hi All,

Sorry for short notice, but only just found out about this.  There is a car show at the airbase museum at Coventry airport this Sunday.  I'm booked on a flight in one of their 1940's DH Dragon Rapide bi-planes on Sunday so am heading up for that, but am planning going up in the Vx220 and putting that in the show.  £8 with car, driver and 1 passenger which apparently includes entry to the museum.

Details from another forum:

1st Annual Coventry Airbase Car Show.

The show will take place on October the 2nd 2011 at Coventry Airbase. This show is for **ANY** Classic/Retro/Vintage/Modified/or American car that you have. If you've spent time and money on it, and are proud of it, we want to see it!

Entry is via the West Gate entrance, through Baginton Village. Postcode is CV8 3AZ if you need to Satnav it.

Gate's open at 9am for displaying cars, open to the public at 10am. Gates close at 5pm.

Entrance is £8 for the driver and 1 passenger, and this includes entrance to the museum as well. Additional passengers are £4 each. Non displaying visitors are more than welcome, at a cost of £8 each. Everything is pay on the gate so no need to worry about it now! Pleasure flights are available in several aircraft including the Dragon Rapide, Percival Prentice and Chipmunk, booked through the website. There will be a food/drink on site, and the famous DC6 diner is also open.

Airbase is home to over 30 plus Vintage Aircraft so there is plenty to see and do. A live museum, well stocked gift shop and aircraft arriving and departing all day make this the ideal venue for the show. A website to show you more is here -

These are all the details I have and will be away from the pc from tomorrow morning, so I won't be able to post in this thread before sunday.
