lippydave Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Cheap Ford Runabout anyone? Old-Ford Quote
deanoecosse Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 That must be one of the best low mileage RS200's in existance. What a waste of an awesome car averaging just over 40 miles per year of its life. Quote
Gromit Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Oh that's only just up the road from me. Might go and ask for a test drive. Quote
adamnreeves Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 What a rip off If I had a spare £125k I'd think I'd buy something else Quote
Buzz Billsberry Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Nothing special really we have three on the Yorkshire area and 2 of them are club members. Infact I was looking at one last night along with an absolute mint MkII escort to Windy Millers standard and owned by the same guy. Buzz Quote
wilsonch Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 According to 'howmanyleft.co.uk' there are only 9 registered on the road and 19 SORN'd so in my book that makes it quite special, but is is 125k's worth of special??? Quote
nikpro Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I loved them in their day but god does it look awful now! The interior is a sierra 'parts bin' raid. A nice Ford GT for that money would be more appealing. Quote

A chap I work with is creating his own interpretation of an RS200 on a Subaru Impreza drivetrain/floor pan. OK, it will be front engined instead of mid and the Scooby wheelbase is 10mm longer, but he has all of the body panels off the original RS moulds. I reckon it could be a very entertaining car when it's done. He's currently contemplating just waht to do with the interior trim and instrumentation... Quote
