Had a brilliant run from Anglesey through the Conway Valley, then annoyed the visitors in Betws Y Coed, through Capel Curig, up the Llanberis Pass (Snowdon was full) and back home.  110 miles in shirt sleeves!

Forecast rain here tomorrow.

Great drive out in the Westy. One little girl asked her mum at the petrol station is that a really, really old car and her mum said no its the latest model! :-)

I suspect the mini heat-wave is only here 'cause I whipped the rear lower suspension arms off last Sunday...

You'll know when they go back on by the sudden weather change

Well, finished rebuilding the rear suspension yesterday, roll bars connected up and adjusted to a starting position, finished this morning with a little touch in paint on a cockpit chassis tube that had lost some powder coat. Put the seats back in, (after checking suspension bolts were torqued up). Car now ready to go!

Oops, where did the sun go, b****r it's rained practically from the moment the last nut went on the seat mounting bolts.  :bangshead:  :bangshead:  :bangshead:

Sorry folks. All my fault, I knew it would happen

Huzzah for sunshine. Got to make the most of it so I had to drive to work in it today.

My back is in pieces, I've eaten half a pound of flies and gravel, my ears are ringing, eyes are watering but I'm the happiest person in the office today!

140 miles on Saturday, through the peaks (minus Ashbourne, as it was full..), and hook a right to Sheffield via Buxton!

Lovely. :D

What was that huzzah for sunshine? Those clouds are looking ominous! Damn you Carol and your barefaced weather lies on BBC Breakfast

If you go on to YouTube and type Carol Kirkwood, you pretty much getting nothing but references to her considerable norks and what lonely men would like to do to her... :p  :D

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking her norks. Her fortune telling and weather prediction could do with some work but that's a fine rack for a woman of her age

It's surprisingly dry in a Westfild in the rain. It could do with a good wash now though.
