carpetstu Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Its about time you got that on the road I remember seeing the body work in the garage roof when you was kind enough to show me round and offer assistance when my uncles caravan blew two tyres out side your house, on the way back from Pembridge a couple of years back. Anyway the car looks good and now its time to enjoy the fruits of your labour Cheers Stu Quote
smithaam Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 lol ye i remember, was a few years back now. I am enjoying every moment but just a shame its the tale end of summer lol thanks Quote
Martin Keene Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Looks nice. A small word of advice if I may? Move the fire extinguisher. A mate had one mounted there, it was correctly mounted in its frame and even had a cable tie for good measure. When he crashed the car, the extinguisher broke free, leaving the frame behind, punched a sizable dent, ~4", in the windscreen and then bounced back into the passenger seat. Fortunately there was nobody in the seat, but there was potential for nasty injuries. Quote

smithaam Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 I would sort those rear upper seat belt mounts out to, there should be one mount for each catch Ye my chassis only came with the 1 mount, its an older kit, 92 i believe. It is something im going to be changing as i have some extra brackets as well now but its just a matter of fixing them. Quote
