cast iron Posted September 23, 2011 Author Posted September 23, 2011 Alex Rae in a 2 litre ginetta in the 1600 class, now we really are taking the proverbial - scruitineer..... Quote
Andrew Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I think there's a few errors on that list.. Sam Arrenberg in the class C Caterham? Simon Mayne in E1 ?? .. I'm sure it'll be right tomorrow. Quote
Andrew Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 A good day's racing yesterday, with a very close battle for class D honours. Pete got a class third, and fastest lap, with a new personal best time of 1:37.4 Vids are up. Inset view is from the Jason South Pug 205. I put a load of pics on Photobucket The light was getting low, so some are a little fuzzy.. ..and a couple from Mark's race. Class win I believe? Quote
cast iron Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 More great pics thanks Andrew. I had a great weekend, getting into the 1.36,s and 2 class wins Quote
Andrew Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Only took one picture today! The Civic sustained a bit of damage, but another good class D battle, with Pete coming in second this time.. and again, fastest lap. I took some video of both races today, from Sunny out.. not had a chance to see if it's youtubable yet. Pete should have another good in car one too. Quote

Andrew Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 It's not bad Jeff, I'm sure I'll be able to patch it up. Poor old Og had a mare though. Rattly motor! Quote
JeffC Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 oh dear, would guess his engine would have been revving a bit when the pipe shot off and damage would have happened quickly Quote
Andrew Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 oh dear, would guess his engine would have been revving a bit when the pipe shot off and damage would have happened quickly Aye, looks like it.. sounded OK when he fiest started it with the new cooler, but pressure dropped on lap 1. Results are up. Quote
cast iron Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 ..and a couple from Mark's race. Class win I believe? The first one is me just going past the Caterham round the outside The last one is me trying to get back past Mr Main after he took me out of the hairpin after an 8 lap battle, he didnt manage it on the Sunday Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Just an observation Mark but could you not run with a low back passenger seat? That head rest looks like a fair bit of wind resistance to me Quote
Andrew Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Just an observation Mark but could you not run with a low back passenger seat? That head rest looks like a fair bit of wind resistance to me Or even take the whole seat out for the race? Quote
