london craigslist

yeah, not sure I'll be using it anyway.... But its definately an option, or rather an open door.

did find an engine on there that was being sold by a motorsport company, so I went on their home site and found the same engine for sale for double the price...! What Im thinking is that these companies try to sell the engines normally first, and use craigslist as a last resort, to perhaps get the money back that theyve invested..Hence the lower prices.

so craigslist is legit! good to know, cheers for that.

Oh, don't get me wrong, craigslist is legit... but I fear there are a higher number of scammers using craigslist than eBay.  Just be careful is all.

No experience of it in this country, only in the good ole' US of A; in which case, the photography section seems to be home to a disproportionately large amount of the worlds scammers, con artists and out and out thieves.

Sadly I do despair of selling stuff on-line sometimes. Recieved my first ever eBay negative feedback this week from a buyer of some overalls, accusing me of ripping him off 'cause I'd only sent one. Do they not teach English anymore, the advert said "One pair of overalls". Do I really have to explain, has he never bought a pair of trousers or a pair of socks goodness me.  :bangshead:  :bangshead:  :bangshead:  :bangshead:  :bangshead:

I really do find it scary how the set-up for the film "Idiocracy" seems to be slowly coming true...  :0

Too late, I'd already had lunch; there may be an ad' appearing for a keyboard covered in it, quite soon.

....all sorts of nigerian scammers around the world even lurking at your  neighborhood. ebay and craiglist is nothing new....facts of life.

to avoid the snake oil, buy local in craiglist and see for yourself.
