Andrew Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Not sure if this has been posted before, but has anyone seen MSV's "How fast" events? Seem to all be at Bedford autodrome, so too far for me.... ..but for £99, doesn't look a bad event?? Fastest se7en on the leaderboard so far, is a standard Caterham 1600. Someone should put a Westy round the track. HOW FAST Quote
Andrew Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 No interest? I thought this would appeal. It's like a sprint, without the need for a race licence, overalls etc etc.. ... slightly tight on noise at 101db, but not bad. Quote
Plumber Boy Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Bedford is a great track... the safest too and well run Jon Quote
SteveH Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I think it's something like an hours practice followed by a couple or three runs against the clock, good value by motorsport standards but not so much against trackdaying. Good if you want your name on an MSV board I guess but as soon as it gets popular it will attract the Time Attack crowd with mega BHP. Jon's right though, Bedford is a good layout on the GT circuit at least and goes well in a Westie if you can get through the noise regs. Quote

SteveH Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Noise would be an issue for me and anyway I'm already on a couple of MSV's lists Quote

Its well worth a visit Jon Quote
