Cosworth Turbo won't idle when cold

Slightly off topic but hoping you can help.

I have recently bought a mk2 escort with cosworth yb turbo engine. The engine has been tuned and runs green injectors, stage 3 chip, t34 turbo and 31 wastgate however the engine will stall when started from cold and your foot is removed from the accelerator.

Once the engine is warm the car will idle no problem.

Any ideas on possible causes?

My first thought is idle control valve.

Coolant temperature sensor?

Possibly mixture related, flooding plugs. Just sorted mine by fitting Iridium plugs. To be dyno'd again post running in soon.
