My word, what was that commentary all about. Superb.

And for the biking. That lad is good. I like my MTB, but could never compete with that.

I have watched this so many times already! Huge huge respect to this guy. Unless you've tried riding in anything like these conditions it's impossible to explain how hard it must have been, and on possibly the most demanding and steepest track in the world!

Fair play to the young man (19 years old!), beating the best riders in the world by nearly 12 seconds.

The commentary definitely adds to it, more sports need commentary like this! haha

thought the two in the commentary box were going explode.......

That is just fantastic.

You never get how steep things are from tv either..

That's nothing like Danny Macaskill! That's downhill world cup.

Took us 2 hours to ride that hill from top to bottom with stopping, filming, studying lines, falling off, and that was in the dry. That video doesn't do the course justice, how mental-steep it is, completely un-ridable for experienced bikers in the wet, it's usually whoever stays on at Champery wins, more out of luck than judgement.

Sounds like Rob Warner's been drinking in the commentary box again!

And that big whip in the last jump section, having the strength left to pull off a whip for the crowd. Fair play to the boy.

did you not notice he is on a bike and his name is Danny - so in actual fact it is a lot like Danny MacAskill  :p

Of course! That bloke who got his 4x4 stuck up Snowdon is just like Ayrton Senna because their vehicles both have 4 wheels.

Downhill's come on so far in the last few years, less riding a bike, more like controlled falling between corners. How the heck he finds grip like that in the wet is beyond me.

not really because his name wasnt Ayrton nor was he in a formula 1 car - I suppose he did have four wheels though

lighten up a bit Dibby  :D

I am lightened up, just fishing for ****s and giggles :D

... Danny Hart wasn't riding a trials bike, a trials bike compares to a downhill bike just like an F1 car compares to a 4x4... I'll give you the name one though!

One of the lads out there with us was on a rigid jump bike on the Champery DH course, he didn't get off and push, he rode and fell all of it, fair play to him for not wussing out and pushing down, although some sections you have to ride, you can't walk down it's that's steep.
